Join us at Wisp Resort on Saturday, August 4th for the 7th annual Deep Creek Chili Splash.  If you are looking for a fun way to spend your day, look no farther than this HOT event!   As a Regional competition with 3 categories to compete in-Salsa, Verde, and Red Chili, there is sure to be something for everyone!  $5 Bucks gets you in, gets you a tasting cup and a spoon and 5 tasting tickets!  Chili tasting is while supplies last! 

If you are competing, cash prizes are available, and the chance to attend the World Chili Championships this October!

There are various games throughout the day such as the Hot Pepper Eating Contest, and also musical entertainment by various artists.  You will find local vendors and artisans there, along with comical themes and hard core chili making competitors.  Surely, something you do not want to miss!  Gates open at 12 noon and awards are slated for 5:30 PM. 

 This is an International Chili Society Sanctioned event, which means all proceeds from the event must go to a charitable non-profit organization.  This year part of the proceeds from the Deep Creek Chili Splash event will benefit the Garrett Lakes Arts Festival (GLAF).
